Oh, how I loved this wedding. This sweet couple was fun, relaxed, had an artsy flare, and were a bit quirky . . .
red shoes, handmade headpieces, a black frame,
an auntie to marry them in crazy sunglasses, AMAZING cake, beautiful clouds,
wildflowers, mountains, and perfume
dancing, kissing, laughing
roses and onions, lots of lace, family, friends, and oh sweet, sweet love
Often times, I have the pleasure of sharing the love story . . . but today, this is a love story by Megan and Brian Terry. When you are finished browsing here, come see a slideshow of their whole day – by clicking HERE!!!
“We aren’t about the glam of love . . love can be burning brownies on a Saturday!” ~Megan and Brian “We like horror movies, walking our dogs, brie cheese, thuderstorms, french, arguing, roasted garlic, the color yellow, and leaving spaghetti for the spaghetti gods!” ~Megan and Brian “The wedding is just the icing on the cake. . . we already have the mushy layers in between!” ~Megan and Brian “We aren’t afraid to show our flaws . . .they are what make us stronger.” ~Megan and Brian

Three unbelievable weddings in the last two weekends – I don’t even know where to begin!
The past couple of weeks, weddings that have been only in the dreams of three sweet brides have come to reality! These three girls met their prince charming and went into wedding planning mode. Each of these brides have been dreaming and planning – some for only a couple months – some for over a year! What an absolute blast it has been for me to be a part of each of these weddings from almost the beginning – listening to their plans, hearing their dreams, watching them make their day their own. And then — then to have the complete joy of being a part of their day and seeing each unique detail make it special for their family and friends . . . and of course, for them.
Glass slippers, tequila shots instead of champagne toasts, bright orange shoes and funny face masks!
Hand-made head pieces, gold fish centerpieces, pank bench make-out sessions, and a big green tractor!
Unique brides, unique stories, unique photography . . . unique love.
I can harldy wait to share each of these weddings in detail over the next couple weeks . . . stay tuned!
As many of you know, we are expecting baby #6 . . .
And like all pregnant women, I have been super, super lazy! I have just been laying around-watching re-runs of Lie to Me and House, eating Cheetos and the newest Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream (together of course), and letting my dear husband do every ounce of house cleaning. Needless to say, because of this fact, I have fallen behind in my work.
Luckily, I work with some pretty fantastic brides – brides whom understand the “situation” their wedding photographer has found herself in. They have been so wonderful – recognizing that TV and junk food are sometimes just more important than wedding albums and lifetime memories.
HA!
I want to introduce you to one of the most beautiful brides I have come across. Olivia.
Olivia has a heart that radiates beauty. It pours out of her in her speech, in her actions, and in her love. She is so so sweet, kind, and as I mentioned earlier – patient.
Olivia and Greg were married in the middle of July, and have been waiting ever so paitently for just a glimpse of their wedding pictures, and today, when I went to post them, I realized why it has taken so long for me to get them up! There are so many wonderful ones! Each picture of their wedding screams love and laughter – romance and fun! Some weddings focus on decorations. Some weddings – the DJ and dancing are what its about. At the wedding of Greg and Olivia Obray, their love for one another demanded the attention. Don’t get me wrong, they had wonderful decorations, and they didn’t lack a grrreeaaattt party, but when the two of them were together, it made you want to stop and watch them. Stop and watch how they spoke to one another, how they touched each other, and how their love was reflected in the others’ eyes. Simple, comfortable, and everlasting love.
Greg and Olivia, your wedding is one that I will always remember. I am excited to watch your sweet girl grow up. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family . . . for so many of your precious “life” moments.
