I have been thinking lately that I miss laughing. There are times when I seem to let life get the best of me – when I let work, people, my own expectations, etc., stress me out. I stop laughing.
This is probably why I love shooting weddings sooo much!
Every Saturday, I get to forget. I get to forget about reality for a moment and fall into another happy love story.
Well, today, is no exception.
Last night, as I watched the wedding party practice the walk down the aisle, and watch the groom high-five every person he came in contact with, I found my self laughing. I watched this couple laugh and play and have fun joking around with each other, and I thought to myself, ”it has been awhile . . . “
Seeing them together, brought me back to the moment I first met these two.

This couple lives in Washington, so working out the perfect time to shoot engagement pictures was a bit difficult. schedules, work, the weather – they were all factors in our get together. When we finally met, it was raining . . . and cold . . . and raining.
These two were fabulous, though! It didn’t phase them at all. The rain didn’t stand a chance at ruining their time together.
I am so excited for today.
I am so excited to be a part . . . of wedding day! Congratulations Andy and Rachel! Happy Wedding Day!
Oh, how I loved this wedding. This sweet couple was fun, relaxed, had an artsy flare, and were a bit quirky . . .
red shoes, handmade headpieces, a black frame,
an auntie to marry them in crazy sunglasses, AMAZING cake, beautiful clouds,
wildflowers, mountains, and perfume
dancing, kissing, laughing
roses and onions, lots of lace, family, friends, and oh sweet, sweet love
Often times, I have the pleasure of sharing the love story . . . but today, this is a love story by Megan and Brian Terry. When you are finished browsing here, come see a slideshow of their whole day – by clicking HERE!!!
“We aren’t about the glam of love . . love can be burning brownies on a Saturday!” ~Megan and Brian “We like horror movies, walking our dogs, brie cheese, thuderstorms, french, arguing, roasted garlic, the color yellow, and leaving spaghetti for the spaghetti gods!” ~Megan and Brian “The wedding is just the icing on the cake. . . we already have the mushy layers in between!” ~Megan and Brian “We aren’t afraid to show our flaws . . .they are what make us stronger.” ~Megan and Brian

Three unbelievable weddings in the last two weekends – I don’t even know where to begin!
The past couple of weeks, weddings that have been only in the dreams of three sweet brides have come to reality! These three girls met their prince charming and went into wedding planning mode. Each of these brides have been dreaming and planning – some for only a couple months – some for over a year! What an absolute blast it has been for me to be a part of each of these weddings from almost the beginning – listening to their plans, hearing their dreams, watching them make their day their own. And then — then to have the complete joy of being a part of their day and seeing each unique detail make it special for their family and friends . . . and of course, for them.
Glass slippers, tequila shots instead of champagne toasts, bright orange shoes and funny face masks!
Hand-made head pieces, gold fish centerpieces, pank bench make-out sessions, and a big green tractor!
Unique brides, unique stories, unique photography . . . unique love.
I can harldy wait to share each of these weddings in detail over the next couple weeks . . . stay tuned!
