little church on the hill . . .

This blog post is long overdue.  Long, long overdue.

This wedding is one that I have been dying to show all of you.

This wedding is one that I have been waiting and waiting to share . . .

Once upon a time, a young woman came to visit me about sharing her wedding day with her.  I asked, like I ask all my brides, to share her love story with me.

She began to tell me about a city girl  . . .  and a city boy . . .

She began to tell me about fishing.

She began to tell me about this boy and his love for fishing.

She told about Montana.

There once was a city boy who wanted to fish FOREVER in Montana.

He could think of nothing else, and would she come with him?

She packed her bags and headed out of the big city – to a small little fishing town in Montana.  She wanted to be with that boy . . . even if it meant being in Montana.

(Although, I do remember one part of the story – the part when she arrived there and there was no electricty  . . . no water . . . and I remember her saying, “I’m just not feeling it.”  He told her, “No – this is right.”

Needless to say, wedding bells were in their future, and I was so so lucky to photograph all the many incredibly beautiful details of her wedding and capture all of the laughter and love that was shared.

Once again, when you are done scrolling through some of these images, you can see their whole wedding day unfold by clicking hereMontana Wedding Photography I have to be honest.  When Kelah and I were visiting that first day about some of her wedding plans, I was dying on the inside!  You see, as you pull out of our small town, there is a church that sits up on a hill.

A church, that from the road, looks so so beautiful.

I had never been there.  There had never been a wedding there.

It was just a simple church – up on a hill – and I wanted to go!!! Montana Wedding Photography This church is a part of Two Moose Camp.  It drew these two city kids to be married here, but really, it pulls city kids from all over the country to come and have a little taste of Montana for weeks during the summer.Montana Wedding Photography Once again, Wildwood Floral, did an AMAZING job on this sweet girls wedding flowers.  If you ever wondered what a bouquet of 50 roses looked like . . . well, here you have it!  Spectacular.  Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding PhotographyMontana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding PhotographyMontana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Montana Wedding Photography Oh the reception!  The lights!  The decorations!  The amazing cupcakes from Sweet Pea Bakery!  What a night!
